Shel Kahn is an illustrator-cartoonist with a love of heavy metal, megafauna, and mighty-thewed barbarians.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Kahn is best known for <\/span>By Crom!<\/b>, an autobiographical single panel comic featuring life advice from Conan the Barbarian. Their serial story <\/span>Wolf Neighbours <\/b>started out\u00a0in <\/span>Worlds Without Master<\/a><\/span><\/i>, and their sword and sorcery comic <\/span>Orin and the Dead Man\u2019s Sword<\/b>, set in the same world, is being self-published in single issues, and both do indeed include megafauna. The last piece of the puzzle, their heavy metal webcomic <\/span>Resonant Realms<\/b> is now running on Weald Comics. You can also see their work in <\/span>1001 Knights<\/a><\/span><\/i>, <\/span>You Approach A Dark Manor<\/a><\/span><\/i>, <\/span>Fight!<\/span><\/i><\/a> vol 1<\/a>, <\/span>Moon Power<\/a><\/span><\/i> and <\/span>Puffed Shoggoths<\/a><\/span><\/i>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Kahn lives and works in Toronto, Canada, where they earned their BFA at York University, and has strong feelings about local flora, fauna and archaeological records.<\/p>\n

When not in the studio, Kahn can be found continuing their studies in drawing, painting and prehistoric natural sciences at the local museums, teaching kids, teens and adults about art, comics, games and more, or playing any number of roleplaying games with friends.<\/p>\n
