Orin and the Dead Man’s Sword
Orin and the Dead Man’s Sword is a suite of short stories set in and around a primordial forest, written and drawn by Shel Kahn.
Chapter 1 follows Orin on a wordless adventure off the path and into unknown territory, where ancient secrets hide beneath cold waters.
Orin and the Dead Man’s Sword is a tribute to the forests, fictional and tangible, of the author’s childhood. Following Orin, the reader will wander through a world drawn from the Great Lakes region’s flora and fauna, but alive with mysteries inspired by myth and legend.
Chapter 1 ran on Weald Comics, updating on Fridays, for Summer 2014. It is half of Weald’s first print endeavour, Weald #1, which launched at TCAF and VanCAF in May 2014.
