Trolls Page 14-15
Double page today!!!
The majority of the page spreads have overlapping images, but I cut them up for online reading. This one, however, needed to be read in full!
You can always view the pages how they were meant to be, side-by-side, by buying a real copy of Trolls, hint hint.

Here I’m just taking a jab at “trolls-crosses” – which I came across for the first time overseas in a gift store. I thought it was strange that I had never heard of them before in my research, so I went and looked them up. I could not find any excavations or sources talking about them; apparently it’s less of an ancient-amulet-of-protection and more of a modern jewelry piece from the late 90s.

Honestly, the drawing of Bokki makes me so sad. I can draw far better goats.

Nothing starts off a morning better than a revenge defacing.
In a few weeks, on Sunday, November 5, 2017, from 1-7pm, I’ll be at Canzine Vancouver! Come on out to the Goldcorp Centre for the Arts to check out some comics, talk about vikings and goats and trolls, get some free mini-mini comics and hi-fives. BTW Canzine is FREE to attend! So you have no excuse! Unless you live in Toronto and can’t come to Vancouver – but in that case, you can check out Canzine Toronto THIS weekend! Rachel will be there, so go! GO!

There’s little I love more than drawing spoon-fighting.
(Drawing goats is a close second)

One thing I struggle with is contrast – what looks right on my monitor looks too light on my phone, too dark on my other monitor, and way too dark when printed*. Hopefully when you view this page, the blood isn’t too dark for you.
*Though I change my files for printing so they don’t end up being dark – you can see for yourself in person this Sunday! I’ll be at Canzine Vancouver Sunday, November 5, 2017 from 1-7pm at the Goldcorp Centre for the Arts. Free, fun, full of goats and vikings. I’ll have Trolls, Corpse Door, Nameless, Blood in Their Mouths, free mini-minis, and a big ol’ smile! See you then!

My favorite half-of-a-panel in Trolls is Bokki with his li’l butt popping out of frame, wagging his tail.
