I’m only interested in the Rainbow songs that take me to distant lands on faraway stars ruled by wizards, costing those who dare visit their souls, their minds, or their youth. It’s not a real place now, and it doesn’t feel like it ever could have existed, but I can see it in the distance whenever I put on my headphones.

Sharp, heavy, repetitive and extending infinitely into the distance, the landscape that The Sword explore in their music is peaks and valleys, forests and bare slopes, steady tumbling avalanches, and seems to grow as you explore it, crystallizing into more and more complex shapes as you listen.
